We are proud to offer nurturing and developmentally appropriate programs for children at every stage of early childhood.
Infant (starting at 3 months): In our infant program, we provide a warm and safe environment where babies can explore and begin to develop social, emotional, and motor skills.
Toddler: Our toddler program fosters curiosity and independence as children begin to explore the world around them. Toddlers engage in activities that promote language development, social skills, and motor coordination. We offer a mix of structured activities and free play to support their growing sense of self and their interactions with others.
Preschool:: In our preschool program, children are encouraged to explore their interests and develop foundational skills for kindergarten and beyond. Our curriculum focuses on early literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and creative expression. Children also engage in cooperative play, helping them strengthen social skills and emotional intelligence as they prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.
We’re excited to welcome new families to our center!
To begin the process, parents submit an application (see Application Procedures) and can contact us to schedule a tour. Once we receive the form and application fee, the director will check for space and age availability. If space is unavailable, your application will be placed on the waitlist in the order it was received.
When a spot becomes available, the director will reach out to schedule a tour, if one hasn’t already been provided. During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the classrooms, meet our teachers, and learn more about our philosophy, curriculum, and program goals and objectives.
Upon accepting a space when it becomes available, we will schedule a time for parents to meet with the director to review our center policies, consent forms, and the enrollment agreement.
Finally, on your child’s first day, all medical, immunization, and consent forms must be on file with the center office. This information will always remain confidential.
Please note that although applications for unborn infants are accepted, they will not be considered for enrollment until the center has been provided with an official date of birth. Also, priority for enrollment is given to children of Federal Government employees.
We’re delighted that you’re interested in joining the Government Center Child Care Corporation family!
To begin the enrollment process, contact the center directly to request an application. Once you’ve filled out the form and submitted it along with a $30 non-refundable application fee, your child will be placed on our waitlist. Both the application and fee must be received in order to be placed on our list.
Applications are placed on the waitlist in the order in which they are received, and active applications are maintained in order of date within each age group.
You will only be removed from the list if we have been given written or verbal instruction to do so. If at any time you do wish to withdraw your application, just let us know with a quick call or email.
We look forward to welcoming your family into our caring and supportive community!
